Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time contract basis in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of cost accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all bookkeeping duties, ensuring accurate financial records and transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate balance sheets.
• Utilize QuickBooks for data entry, report generation, and financial tracking.
• Monitor and analyze cost accounting data to support decision-making.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial discrepancies.
• Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial information.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial procedures and systems.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Expertise in bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate detailed reports.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
