Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology is recruiting for a Engineer 2 NPD/LCM based in Irvine, CA . This position is fully on-site .
SUMMARY:
Identifies and develops internal areas of opportunities through methodology and tools of excellency in processes with the purpose of reducing the manufacturing cost of the products and continue with the culture of continuous improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Studies the processes to implement improvements.
Performs activities of process/product validation.
Identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment.
Performs material tests.
Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.
Assists technicians and engineers about unusual problems.
Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environmental requirements.
May supervise, coordinate and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.
Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors of Engineering, any specialty
Preferably 2 years in a similar position
Preferably knowledge in the medical industry
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry
Experiment design
Statistical procedures
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Requires working in a Controlled Manufacturing environment and/or in an office environment .
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS / REQUIREMENTS
This position will be performed in a clean room production-controlled environment and office areas.
Must be capable of standing for moderate periods of time and sit at a desk in front of a computer.
Regular use of clean room tools, as well as office tools, necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

$65,000.00 - $104,650.00
