Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description
Join a cutting-edge medical device company specializing in the development of advanced urinary catheters. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Electronics Technicians to join our team on the first shift. This role offers an open-ended contract ranging from 3 to 6 months, with flexibility in start times between 6 am and 7 am.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies at the component level using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
Read, interpret, and work from electronic schematics.
Perform precision soldering and rework, including hot air, solder wick, and desoldering techniques.
Work with very small, fine-pitch components (0402 and 0201 packages).
Support test setups involving load boards and pogo pins.
Work hands-on with microprocessors, ICs, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in electronics, PCBA testing, troubleshooting, and soldering.
Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and digital/analog circuits.
Extensive experience using test and measurement equipment.
IPC soldering certification IPC610.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in medical device assembly or a similar field is preferred.
Knowledgeable about cleanroom guidelines.
Comfortable working with a microscope for inspection.
Confident in connecting devices via Bluetooth and testing via software.
Previous certifications such as IPC 610 or IPC 7711.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean room environment, with a small team of six that will expand. You will have the flexibility to sit or stand, working closely with colleagues in nearby workstations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
