Customer Service Representative

Intermediate Level | Hospital & Sales Support

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and solutions-oriented Senior Customer Service Representative to support hospital customers and field sales representatives. This role goes beyond traditional customer service and requires strong critical thinking, ownership, and initiative to manage high-volume, complex requests that directly support life-saving medical products.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and takes pride in resolving issues quickly and accurately. Experience in hospitality, service-oriented roles, or call center environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital customers and field sales representatives

  • Track and process orders, returns, and service requests with urgency and precision

  • Manage a high-volume shared inbox and daily inbound inquiries

  • Proactively communicate order statuses, backorders, delays, and resolutions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues using critical thinking and root-cause analysis

  • Partner with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless issue resolution

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records within ERP and CRM systems

  • Consistently deliver a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer advocacy

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of customer service experience

  • Hospitality, hotel, or service-oriented backgrounds strongly welcomed

  • Call center experience acceptable

  • Proven ability to handle high-volume, complex inquiries

  • Strong empathy, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated initiative with the ability to walk through real-world problem-solving scenarios

  • Experience using ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)

  • Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and perform well under pressure

  • Degree preferred but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.50/hr.
