ManpowerGroup CNC Maintenance Technician in Irvine, California
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician II
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $36
Shift: 1st Shift M-F 5:30 am - 2:00 PM (OT will vary on weekends depending on need)
What's the Job?
Install, troubleshoot, and repair new equipment and systems, including manufacturing/assembly equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machinery.
Diagnose mechanical issues related to spindles, tooling, lubrication systems, and mechanical assemblies.
Proficiently work with PLC systems, CNC control platforms (e.g., Mitsubishi, FANUC, Haas), and maintenance software.
Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems including motors, controls, fire alarms, and lighting controls.
Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring safety and compliance.
What's Needed?
Knowledge of CNC Maintenance & Troubleshooting, especially Mazak and Mori Seiki.
Understanding of PLC units and ability to install and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, electrical schematics, and sketches.
Strong analytical skills to assess situations and determine effective solutions.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships.
