Job Description
he AI Engineer I, Finance & Accounting Innovation is a hands-on engineering role focused on exploring, prototyping, and operationalizing AI solutions across Finance and Accounting functions. This role emphasizes experimentation and applied AI over traditional full‑stack development, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and Technology teams to modernize financial processes using responsible and secure AI practices.
The role plays a key part in establishing AI standards, identifying high‑value automation and insight opportunities, and applying emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs), document intelligence, and AI agents to real business problems.

Skills and Requirements
Strong engineering foundation with experience in Python, scripting, or notebooks
Hands-on experience with AI / ML tools, including large language models (LLMs)
Experience prototyping AI solutions for document understanding, data extraction, or summarization
Familiarity with financial or accounting data, workflows, or systems
Ability to design and evaluate proof-of-concept AI solutions
Understanding of model evaluation, accuracy, reliability, and risk considerations
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and learning Experience with Finance or Accounting operations, reporting, or compliance
Exposure to MLOps practices (model versioning, deployment, monitoring)
Experience building or experimenting with AI agents or copilots
Familiarity with document intelligence, OCR, or unstructured data processing
Prior experience working in cross-functional enterprise environments
Knowledge of responsible AI principles and governance
