JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Machine Operator - Saw & Prep (1st Shift) Company: General ThermoDynamics (An API Heat Transfer Company) Location: Iron Ridge, WI * On-site * Full-time About Us General ThermoDynamics manufactures engineered heat exchanger components that power critical industries. What You\'ll Do Cut raw materials (tube, bar, flat stock, extrusion) on a horizontal band saw Operate supporting equipment: vertical band saw, tube beader, drill press, disc sander, manual mill (basic ops) Read drawings and cut lists; verify dimensions using calipers/tape Deburr, sand, and finish parts; label and stage parts for downstream operations Complete first-piece and in-process checks per ISO 9001 procedures Keep a clean and safe work area; follow LOTO and machine guarding requirements Collaborate with welding, machining, and shipping to keep work flowing What Great Looks Like You\'re accurate on cuts, measure twice, cut once, and document checks You keep the saw area organized, safe, and audit-ready You communicate clearly with teammates and move materials efficiently Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred Able to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers a plus) Comfortable standing for 8-10 hours and lifting 25-50 lbs.
