Michigan Wisconsin Spring & Brake Inc. Heavy-Duty Truck (HDT) Mechanic in Iron Mountain, Michigan
Location: 1331 Jackson Street Iron Mountain, MI Schedule: Monday--Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Truck (HDT) Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate is certified or willing to become certified in HDT Brakes & Braking Systems and HDT Suspension & Steering Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty truck braking systems
- Service and inspect suspension and steering systems
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate service records
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
Qualifications
- Certification in HDT Brakes & Braking Systems and HDT Suspension & Steering Systems OR willingness to obtain certification
- Previous experience working on heavy-duty vehicles preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
