This position is a seasonal position but could become a fulltime opportunity for the right candidate. The job requires that the applicant posses or can obtain a commercial applicators license within 30 days of the hire date. We operate 2026 John Deere 408R self propelled sprayers. The applicant would be required to assist with loading and preparation of the tender truck as well as filling the sprayer with the correct chemicals, additives and water. The applicant would also be responsible for fueling, cleaning and some of the maintenance of the equipment. Proper PPE will be required and provided. Accurate and complete records of all spray operations is an absolute must as well as safe operation of all equipment both in the field and in transit. Previous experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. A CDL would also be helpful but must possess a valid Missouri driver's license. Hours can vary greatly throughout spray season with the applicant expected to be available from dusk to dawn throughout the 5 day work week but some weekend work may be required as well as this is an agricultural job that is dependent upon good weather working conditions. Overtime will be paid after 40 hours as well a per acre bonus for all acres sprayed.
