Auto Body Estimator
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate customer repair appointments efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales representatives to manage incoming service workflow.
Collect, verify, and document complete customer information and vehicle details.
Prepare detailed estimates for labor, parts, and repair services.
Keep repair quotes open when necessary until approval is obtained from the customer and Service Department.
Write service repair orders and estimates in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain organized coordination of customer repairs to ensure a professional and seamless process.
Engage with customers in a positive, respectful, and courteous manner to build trust and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in automotive service and automotive parts.
Strong understanding of insurance claims and billing procedures.
Proficiency with CCC software and other automotive estimating systems.
Prior autobody estimating or repair experience is required.
Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with diesel engines and diesel repair processes.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Work Environment
This position is based in a clean, friendly, family-owned shop. The role operates on first shift hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM .

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
