Job Title: Auto Body Estimator
Job Description
As an Auto Body Estimator, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating customer repairs and appointments with the Service Department and Office Manager. You will work closely with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales representatives to manage incoming service workflow. Your role involves accurately obtaining and documenting all customer information and vehicle data, and providing customer estimates for labor and parts. If the cost of service cannot be established during the initial call, the quote remains open until approved by the Customer and Service Department.
Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate customer repairs and appointments.
Collaborate with Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales representatives on incoming service workflow.
Accurately document customer information and vehicle data.
Provide customer estimates for labor and parts.
Interact with customers in a positive, respectful, and gracious manner.
Schedule service work and write service repair quotes and orders.
Coordinate customer repairs in an organized, professional manner.
Essential Skills
Experience in automotive service and automotive parts.
Knowledge of insurance claim and billing processes.
Proficiency with CCC Software and estimating software.
Autobody experience is essential.
Customer service oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with diesel engines and repairs is a plus.
Technical writing skills.

Work Environment
Work in a family-owned shop that is clean and welcoming. The position is on the 1st shift, from 7 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
