Job Duties
Supervise daily front office operations: patient registration and assistance of patients and customers to their desired location; gathering and maintenance of accurate patient medical records including demographic, financial and billing data as well as required signatures for services; assistance with payment and cash control systems, appointment scheduling, etc. Hire, train, schedule and supervise clinic registration staff. Supervise and assist with incoming call requests and scheduling of appointments. Research, analyze and make recommendations for application workflow improvements. Gather data and create reports to enhance understanding, communication, efficiency and accuracy. Work directly with clinic providers, nursing and other staff to provide care, compassion and excellent customer service. Act as a liaison between patients, patient care staff, practitioners, nurses, the triage nurse and registration staff, suggesting solutions to patient questions and scheduling challenges. Template building and specialized accurate scheduling skills to assist with precise requests
Minimum Education Required
• Epic Super trainer Credentialing- or will complete within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma and two years of business education or equivalent.
• Computer skills and knowledge of Customer Service, 2 years Epic experience
Minimum Experience Required
• Degree in Business, communications or medical terminology
• Experience in a health care setting
