City of International Falls Director of Public Works in International Falls, Minnesota
Job Duties
The Director of Public Works provides strategic leadership and oversight of the City of International Falls Public Works operations, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, streets, infrastructure planning and the sidewalk and trail system. This role works closely with City Council and City Administration to set goals, develop policies and guide long-term direction while overseeing planning, zoning, budgeting, capital improvement projects and emergency management programs.
Minimum Education Required
4-year degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum Experience Required
6 – 8 years of Street, Highway, Utilities or Engineering experience including 5 years of supervisory experience
Basic knowledge of zoning and land use
