Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in Indio, California. In this role, you will provide outstanding support to our community by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the government sector.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries about water services, accounts, and billing with professionalism and efficiency.
• Process account updates, payments, and service orders accurately within the system.
• Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions and follow up on pending issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer concerns effectively.
• Ensure customer account information is handled with confidentiality and security.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work culture.
• Stay informed about internal processes and assist in system-related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within utilities, municipal services, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using multiple browsers and email for accurate and clear correspondence.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with billing systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer systems.
