Shift schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday – Thursday. Must be flexible to work on Fridays.
Day in the Life:
Supervise and oversee the daily activities of 1-10 employees
Apply Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in all areas of responsibility
Remain informed of business deliverables and priorities while effectively communicating strategically bi-directionally via tier meetings and leader boards
Work to collaboratively define equipment uptime deliverables, and report out on metrics
Define, implement, and deliver equipment analytics trends (where applicable)
Ensure proper coverage and response to business needs and production demands
As a Frontline leader and SME, perform and troubleshoot equipment setups, repairs, maintenance, and calibrations in accordance with Regulatory and Site policies and procedures
Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo, SAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Visio)
Perform Break/Fix and Preventive Maintenance operations
Perform initial, annual, and periodic review of equipment documentation
Perform investigations, and write process deviations identify root cause, and implement corrective actions via the CAPA process
Perform and participate in Process Performance Initiatives through the means of the approved PPI tools and processes
Responsible for supporting all customers both internal and external with meeting site critical metrics

Perform other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of business
Keys to Success:
Education & Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma with 6 years experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Systems OR Associate's degree in a science-related field with 4 years experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Systems
Minimum 2 years people management and leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong level of mechanical and electrical proficiency
Strong Technical Writing Skills
Experience and understanding of CMMS
2+ Years experience creating, implementing, and sustaining preventative maintenance schedules
Work with little supervision and with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently
Familiarity and understanding of core Engineering principles and practices, Quality Systems, and Requirements
Knowledge and experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens)
Experience with robotic systems, including programming, integration, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with machine vision systems, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting for quality control and automation processes
Physical Requirements:
Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, and squatting and must be able to complete each of these movements frequently and at length (where applicable)
Ability to lift and load up to 50 pounds of material onto a machine (while exercising “team lift” guidelines)
Vision requirements for this position:
Clear vision at 20” or less
Distance vision at 20 ft or more
Color and peripheral acuity
Fixed point depth perception
Color blindness standards
PPE including but not limited to: PAPR (Personal Air Respirator), N95 masks, full and half face masks, and safety glasses
Steel toe and external protective gear may be required dependent upon job tasks
