Solar Energy Solutions Solar Installer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is actively seeking reliable and skilled Solar Installers to become part of our growing team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients. SES is committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable energy solutions, and your role will be essential in helping us achieve this mission.
Responsibilities:
Install solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems on rooftops and other structures
Ensure all wiring and electrical connections meet safety and quality standards
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete installations efficiently
Perform site assessments and provide input on optimal solar system layout
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean, secure job site
Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs when necessary
Requirements
Previous experience in solar installation or construction is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided
Basic understanding of electrical wiring and safety codes
Physically capable of working at heights, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs, and operating in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required
