The Project Controls Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of projects with direct engagement with customers during the project's lifecycle. As a Site Leader Project Manager, you will manage project commitments for installation, commissioning, and validation of significant projects across North America. This includes extended on-site engagement, acting as a liaison between customers, project managers, engineering and production teams, and installation teams.
Responsibilities
Manage project commitments for installation, commissioning, and validation of projects in North America.
Act as a key contact and liaison with customers and internal teams.
Coordinate site management activities for Radiopharma, Pharma, and Cell & Gene Therapy projects, including managing installation and commissioning activities such as SAT, IQ/OQ, and validation.
Oversee and coordinate activities related to Radiopharma, including shielded hot cells, automation, and sterility testing isolators.
Supervise activities within the Pharma sector, including aseptic handling, filling of APIs, and modular sterility testing.
Manage Cell & Gene Therapy activities, such as modular cell culture isolators and incubation systems.
Conduct Service Project Kick-Off meetings and Project Execution Planning.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Engineering, Nuclear Medicine, or Microbiology.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
Experience with Service Project Kick-Off meetings and Project Execution Planning.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers under pressure and tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management, budgeting, project execution, and project engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in industries such as Pharma, Food & Beverage, Industrial Automation, Oil & Gas, Chemical Plant, Automotive, and Paper.
Work Environment
This role requires 25% domestic travel, with occasional trips to Italy. Main travel destinations include Seattle, Salt Lake City, Indiana, and Philadelphia, though other domestic locations are possible. When not traveling, the role requires presence in Indianapolis 3 days a week, with the option to work remotely 2 days. The work schedule follows a 2 weeks on, 1 week off pattern, potentially extending to 4 weeks off at times. The work environment involves technologies such as vision systems, data management, filling equipment, 6-axis robots, pick and place machines, and hot cells. Employees are provided a company card for travel expenses and a per diem of $75 per day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.10/hr.
