Position Title: Home Care Aide / Caregiver
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Home Care Aides to support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. This role involves working closely with elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or surgery.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
Remind clients to take medications (non-medical assistance only)
Accompany clients to appointments or errands
Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors
Proper execution of detailing notes of daily client schedule and adhering to strict GPS visit verification per Indiana requirement
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus
Must pass background check and drug screening (per Indiana state requirements)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
Work Environment
Client homes across Indiana
