Position Title: Home Care Aide / Caregiver


Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Home Care Aides to support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. This role involves working closely with elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or surgery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary

  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

  • Remind clients to take medications (non-medical assistance only)

  • Accompany clients to appointments or errands

  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors

  • Proper execution of detailing notes of daily client schedule and adhering to strict GPS visit verification per Indiana requirement


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus

  • Must pass background check and drug screening (per Indiana state requirements)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality


Work Environment

  • Client homes across Indiana

  • Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, weekends, overnight shifts available)
