We're seeking a Mid-Level Plumbing Designer in Indianapolis, Indiana, who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to support projects for some of the world’s largest and most state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You’ll independently perform plumbing design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Your plumbing experience will be put to use to create plumbing designs for construction. There will be opportunities to be on project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and during construction. You will coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management.

• Associates Degree in mechanical design; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of dgree
• 7+ years of experience in practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
Location: This role is staffed out of our Indianapolis office as a hybrid position with majority of time worked remote, and approximately 2 days per week in the office on average as needed for projects
Ideally you’ll have:
• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline is preferred
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• Passion for buildings and construction
