Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the installation and management of new equipment. You will have the opportunity to travel to Chicago to learn about the latest automation technology and will become the master/owner of the equipment once installed.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components and systems, including motors, control panels, and PLCs.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

  • Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective solutions.

  • Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and safety.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in repairing pumps, motors, gearboxes, and electrical troubleshooting.

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.

  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and three-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • TIG welding skills are a big plus.

  • Experience with HVAC, industrial maintenance, and welding.

  • Willingness to travel to Chicago for training on new automation equipment.

  • Ability to train other technicians on equipment usage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Clean working environment with new automation being installed, Beard, hair nets, eye protection, and steel toes required. Must provide your own tools, they are updating there benefits to add in tool and boot vouchers Good health dental and visions benefits 2nd shift shift - 2:30pm -11pm

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Indianapolis,IN.
