TEKsystems IT Project Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
Seeking an IT Project Manager (Clinical Technology) to join their strategic Design and Construction team. The ITPM is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all clinical technology components across design and construction initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between IT, clinical stakeholders, Facilities Design & Construction, vendors, and construction partners to ensure technology solutions are seamlessly integrated into new builds, renovations, expansions, and clinic openings. The successful candidate will ensure that clinical systems, infrastructure, and technology-enabled workflows are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with standards, regulatory requirements, and patient care objectives.
They will also support other ongoing clinical technology projects including but not limited to: Cerner integrations, Epic integrations, etc.
Responsibilities:
-Lead end‑to‑end project management for clinical technology scope within capital construction projects, including new hospitals, clinics, renovations, and site expansions.
-Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for assigned initiatives.
-Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and phases, from planning and design through installation, testing, go‑live, and turnover to operations.
-Manage the planning, deployment, and integration of clinical technologies such as: EHR–adjacent systems, medical device connectivity, Nurse call, RTLS, patient engagement, and clinical communication platforms, AV systems, telemetry, and other clinical infrastructure, etc.
-Ensure technology designs align with clinical workflows, safety standards, and operational readiness requirements.
-Partner closely with Facilities, Design & Construction teams to align IT deliverables with construction schedules, milestones, and constraints.
-Review architectural drawings, RFPs, and design documents to ensure appropriate inclusion of clinical technology requirements.
-Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, construction walkthroughs, and site readiness assessments.
-Act as the primary point of contact for clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders related to project technology scope.
-Communicate status updates, risks, dependencies, and escalation needs to leadership and project sponsors.
-Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and system integrators to ensure contract deliverables and performance expectations are met.
-Ensure all clinical technology solutions adhere to IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, interoperability expectations, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission).
-Support capital governance processes by contributing to business cases, schedules, and cost estimates related to technology investment.
-Maintain documentation, lessons learned, and transition plans to support operational handoff.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
