Job Title: Technician (Plumber)
Job Description
This role involves monitoring Building Authority Automation Systems and performing plumbing, preventative maintenance, repair, and alterations for all facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems including valves, pumps, RP devices, and plumbing fixtures.
Maintain and repair irrigation systems, drinking fountains, fire sprinkler systems, and kitchen and laundry equipment.
Manage maintenance and repairs of air, gas, water, sewer, and drainage lines.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in plumbing, repair, and piping.
Experience with valves, pumps, and plumbing fixtures.
Knowledgeable in the preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems.
Experience in the repair and installation of fire sprinkler systems and lawn irrigation systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with lighting maintenance and repair, power tools, drywall, carpentry, preventive maintenance, and painting.
Experience with equipment and tools including Mega Ohm, Amp and Volt meters, Circuit Traces, Pipe Benders, Trucks, Ladders, Electrical Hand Tools, and Safety Equipment.

Work Environment
This position is primarily indoors with routine exposure to outdoor conditions. Work will be conducted in a court building that attaches to a prison, balancing independent tasks with collaborative work. A variety of maintenance tools and equipment will be used daily.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
