Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building infrastructure. You will manage work orders and troubleshoot facility-related issues efficiently and professionally. Your role will involve regular inspections of properties to identify repair needs and safety concerns, as well as coordinating and assisting with outside contractors and vendors for specialized services. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and participating in minor renovation, move, and setup projects across the portfolio will be essential. You will also take part in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building infrastructure.

  • Manage work orders and troubleshoot facility-related issues efficiently and professionally.

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify repair needs and safety concerns.

  • Coordinate and assist with outside contractors and vendors for specialized services.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.

  • Participate in minor renovation, move, and setup projects as needed across the portfolio.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • EPA Universal or HVAC certification preferred

  • Experience supporting multiple buildings or a property portfolio

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
