Position Summary:
We are seeking an Asset Operations Senior Professional to join a leading financial services organization with operations across the United States. This consultant will support financial operations in a structured, fast-paced environment, with a focus on financial processing, reporting, operational controls, and team support across nationwide project engagements.
This is a remote/field-based role requiring U.S. travel for project assignments.
Essential Duties:
· Perform financial processing, reporting, and operational support activities.
· Review team work papers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
· Analyze financial data and prepare detailed operational reports.
· Support general ledger, accounts payable, and loan system activities.
· Extract and manipulate large data sets for multi-level reporting.
· Ensure adherence to internal controls and processing procedures.
· Train and mentor team members on systems and operational workflows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
· Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial operations, banking operations, mortgage operations, or financial processing.
· Experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and loan servicing systems preferred.
· Experience working within financial institutions, mortgage banking, or similar processing environments preferred.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
· Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
· Ability to work with large data downloads and detailed reporting.
· Knowledge of financial processing controls and procedures.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to train, guide, and review the work of others.
· Ability to learn and navigate standardized financial systems quickly.
Travel Requirements: This role requires 100% nationwide travel. Per diem is provided, and all travel expenses are paid.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly rate for this role is $50.
