SIMOS 1st Shift Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator in Indianapolis, Indiana

At SIMOS, associates are paid weekly on Fridays and have a career path with great advancement opportunities! This role requires you to be able to load and unload trailers and manually lift, stack, and wrap pallets.
Must have 1 year of warehouse experience.
Additional Opportunity: We could have openings for Forklift Operators. Please note any experience you may have for Recruiter to add to your profile. This role will require a minimum of 1 year of experience operating Stand Up Raymond Swing Reach 537 or Raymond Swing Reach 9600. Additional wages for this role will be discussed as opportunities present.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour
Duties:
Unload inbound trailers manually and via conveyor belts
Load, stack, shrink-wrap, and palletize products efficiently
Perform inbound warehouse functions in a fast-paced environment
Use proper lifting techniques to handle boxes weighing up to 60 lbs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and safety goals
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines

Position Requirements:
Ability to lift parts weighing up to 60 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.
