Assistant Group Supervisor
- Location: Indiana, PA
- Payrate: $11.50 - $14.00 an hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, Between 7am to 5:30pm (Normally a 7.5 hours per day)
What will you be doing?
The Assistant Group Supervisor may step into a leadership role when the Group Supervisor is absent and may oversee aides and volunteers as needed.
- Assist in planning and implementing the HighScope curriculum using PA Early Learning Standards
- Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment
- Use positive guidance techniques and Pyramid Model strategies
- Help prepare and implement daily lesson plans and activities
- Communicate with families through daily updates and classroom communication
- Ensure compliance with PA licensing regulations and mandated reporter requirements
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
Support classroom aides and volunteers
What are the Job Requirements?
- High school diploma/GED + 30 college credits in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services OR
- High school diploma/GED + 15 ECE credits + 1 year (1,250 hours) experience with children OR
- High school diploma/GED + 2 years (2,500 hours) experience with children
- Must be able to obtain all clearances required
