Hyatt Pool Server - Part Time in INDIAN WELLS, California
Description:
Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Pool Server - On Call at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt has completed a property-wide renovation and up branding from Regency to Grand. Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues. Set within the perfect backdrop of scenic Indian Wells, this property will be a destination favorite as it is positioned to take hospitality to a new level in the destination.
Pool Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt Pool server will engage in casual conversation and create a luxury experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general server preparations and maintaining a sanitary environment.
The hourly pay-rate for this position is $17.00 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.This is the pay rate for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.
Seasonal role through September 6th, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Qualifications:
Riverside County Food handler's License
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and walk long distances.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Previous experience highly desired.
