Big Bear Adventures Subway Manager in Indian River, Michigan
We are seeking an experienced and motivated manager to lead our Indian River Subway location. The manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff and driving store performance. This role includes full responsibility for inventory ordering, employee scheduling and maintaining operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant operations
- Hire, train and supervise team members
- Create and manage weekly employee schedules to ensure proper staffing levels
- Monitor labor costs and adjust scheduling to meet business needs
- Order inventory, track stock levels and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure food quality, freshness and compliance with Subway standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation and health regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Manage cash handling, deposits and daily financial reporting
- Analyze sales and performance metrics to improve profitability
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized store environment
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or retail management experience required
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience with scheduling and inventory management
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (POS system, scheduling software, spreadsheets)
- Ability to stand for extended period and lift up to 30 lbs
Schedule & Availability
- Full-time position (40-hours per week) year-round
- Must be available to wrok felxible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- $20-23/hour based on experience
