Job Title: Machine Operator

The Machine Operator sets up and operates production machinery in a fast-paced, wire-bending manufacturing environment. This role performs minor production setups, light troubleshooting, and a variety of assembly operations while maintaining an efficient flow of product. The Machine Operator supports machine uptime, assists with changeovers, and visually inspects parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor production setups and light troubleshooting on assigned machines as needed to support continuous operations.

• Operate production machinery and perform a variety of assembly operations while maintaining an efficient flow of product.

• Prepare the work area and equipment for the next job, ensuring materials, tools, and documentation are ready.

• Support different areas of the operation as needed, demonstrating flexibility to help where required.

• Multitask effectively to manage machine operation, inspection, and area preparation during an 8-hour shift.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

• Ability to repeatedly lift 35–40 pounds throughout the shift.

• Ability to multitask while following detailed instructions from Machine Operator 2 personnel and supervisors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
