The BioProcess Hardware Modality Leader is responsible for defines and executes the strategy for the bioprocess hardware business in Korea, driving sustainable growth and market leadership through strong cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Service. The role leads critical customer engagements and complex projects in a highly regulated, fast‑evolving biopharma environment, positioning Korea as a strategic APAC bioprocess hub.

This position reports to the Head of Bioprocess Korea and is part of the BioProcess Korea team located in Songdo, Incheon, Korea and will be remote role.

What you will do:

  • Define and execute Korea’s bioprocess hardware modality strategy in alignment with global and regional priorities.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product Management, Applications, Service, Operations, and Quality to ensure seamless execution.

  • Own full P&L responsibility and deliver double-digit revenue growth and market share expansion.

  • Drive execution of large-scale customer projects with top-tier biopharma companies, ensuring on-time, in-budget, and compliant delivery.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GMP), manage quality standards, and mitigate operational risks.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Sales Specialists and Field Application Specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

  • Introduce and scale new technologies (e.g., single-use systems, automation) to enhance customer operations and position Korea as a regional innovation hub.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in bioprocess hardware, life sciences equipment, or regulated manufacturing industries.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale B2B projects in the biopharma or bio-processing sector.

  • Demonstrated experience managing full P&L responsibilities and delivering sustained revenue growth.

  • In-depth knowledge of upstream and downstream bioprocess hardware systems (e.g., bioreactors, chromatography skids, single-use systems & Enterprise Solutions).

  • Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization with cross-functional and regional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GMP, validation, EHS) relevant to bioprocess hardware deployment.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Leading cross-functional teams or projects within a global matrix organization, particularly in the APAC region.

  • Driving adoption of advanced technologies such as automation, AI-enabled systems, or digital transformation in bioprocess manufacturing environments.

  • Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or large-scale contract negotiations within the biopharma or life sciences sector.

  • Technical background in bioprocess equipment R&D, process development, or engineering roles.

  • Demonstrated strength in high-stakes negotiation, with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
