As the Community Engagement & Training Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
Assist with the coordination and delivery of substance misuse prevention programming, including education, awareness activities, and community engagement initiatives.
Support the development, scheduling, facilitation and evaluation of community presentations, events, workshops, and trainings.
Assist with implementing evidence-based and research-informed substance misuse prevention programs.
Maintain knowledge of alcohol and substance misuse trends, prevention strategies, family systems, and child development relevant to prevention programming.
Participate in ongoing staff development and training to remain current on prevention practices and emerging trends.
Community Engagement & Training Specialist Minimum Salary: $20.00
Community Engagement & Training Specialist Maximum Salary: $23.00
Community Engagement & Training Specialist Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am- 3:30pm some nights and weekends
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of relevant experience
