Southern Ute Tribe Custodian in Ignacio, Colorado
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily cleaning of Southern Ute Indian Tribe Buildings and offices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Vacuums carpeted areas, waiting room, offices, inspects and cleans spotted carpet where necessary.
2. Services all soap, towel, and toilet tissue dispensers and waste receptacle liners.
3. Sweeps and cleans front and rear entrances.
4. Cleans all doors and windows.
5. Empties and relines trash cans.
6. Mops, strips, waxes, and buffs tile floors.
7. Dusts all areas in offices and lobbies.
8. Monitors and orders supplies and materials, assuring adequate inventories.
9. Ensures all equipment is in proper working order, reporting items needing repair immediately.
10. Maintains a daily log of work performed.
11. Attends staff meetings and training as requested.
12. Participates in a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read and write in the English language.
Must have knowledge and understanding of procedures used in cleaning.
Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
First aid and hazardous chemical training.
Valid driver license and insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
TERO preference.
