Boise Rigging Supply, a family owned rigging and fall protection company, is seeking a Counter Salesperson to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience with customer service or counter sales, and has some previous industry-related experience or familiarity with rigging, contractor supplies, or industrial supplies. Responsibilities: The role of Inside Salesperson is to the following overall responsibilities: Support customers\' with answering questions about products, technical solutions, prices, availability and product uses. Emphasize product features based on customers\' applications and assist customers in making product selections. Manage customers\' experiences, including but not limited to: Clarification of technical details and commercial conditions. Quote prices. Prepare sales order. Ensure customer satisfaction through knowledge, service and quality. Maintain accurate records of customers\' transactions. Processing customer orders by entering order into computer system and ensuring coordination with our Boise branch. Building chain slings for customers training will be provided. Develop and maintain good relationship with customers by assisting customer with a positive attitude and in a way that customers are pleased with outcome of transaction. Follow proper procedures for inputting sales tickets and handling branch transfers. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service, inside sales or other related business experience Proficient in reading. Positive attitude and an energetic work ethic. Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience using quote / order processing systems is preferred. Experience in the wire rope, contractor supply or industrial supply industry is desirable. Excellent time management, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work proficiently in a cross functional team (variety of people, departments and clients) Must be a quick learner, able to understand various product functions in relatively limited time. Have a valid driver\'s license. Capabilities and Success Factors: Practical understanding of rigging and fall protection preferred. Demonstrate a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitments and professionalism. Excellent people, communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
