The Senior Technical Program Manager in Amazon Compliance Services will lead technology compliance initiatives across multiple organizations impacting each and every person buying, selling, or handling Amazon products will be your customer.
Amazonians work from the office five days per week, and you would work shoulder to shoulder with fast-growing Compliance Services technical teams centered in Bucharest (Bulevardul Dimitrie Pompeiu 4-6 Globalworth Campus, Cladirea A, Etaj 11, București).

We're looking for a unique technical expert to drive cross-organizational projects to build scalable, reusable products that help Amazon demonstrate compliance spanning numerous worldwide regulations.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Amazon Compliance Services, you will lead technology compliance initiatives across multiple organizations impacting each and every person buying, selling, or handling Amazon products will be your customer. In this role, you will be coordinating across engineering teams, business stakeholders, and legal and regulatory partners spanning multiple geographies. You will own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, driving requirements definition, roadmap development, dependency management, and outcome measurement to ensure programs land on time and with measurable impact. A core part of your work will be designing and delivering scalable, reusable compliance products that enable Amazon to demonstrate adherence to an ever-evolving set of global regulations.
Operating at the intersection of engineering, operations, legal, and policy, you will influence and align senior stakeholders across all of these functions — driving results with clarity and conviction, even in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.

About the team
Compliance Shared Services (CoSS) develops services which provide a singular best-in-class set of experiences, fulfilling compliance requirements for sellers and vendors. Our team works on the premise of building pluggable and reusable experiences and services which are configuration driven and scale to millions of sellers, millions of SKUs and de-risk multi-Billion GMS.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in software development
Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
Experience in system design
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
