Job description
Purpose:
Defines & oversees the day-to-day execution of internal training programs, ensuring operational excellence, effectiveness, and alignment with corporate learning objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Training Logistics & Delivery: organize, schedule, and coordinate all training activities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Resource Management: supervise instructor, facilitators, and the training support team; monitor training resources and budgets.
• Quality Assurance: implement and maintain high standards for training sessions, materials, trainer performance and training records.
• Monitoring & Reporting: track training participation, completion rates, and feedback; analyze data to identify improvements & preventive actions.
• Continuous Improvement: use participant feedback and performance metrics to optimize program content and delivery.
• Mentoring: coach and mentor the training operations team, developing their skills and fostering best practices
Candidate skills & requirements
- Technical Knowledge
Good understanding of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
Familiarity with aviation regulations (DGCA, EASA and FAA).
Knowledge of MRO tools, equipment, and parts.
- Leadership and Team Management:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and develop instructors and trainees.
Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present complex technical content in an understandable way.
Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizational and Planning Skills:
Proven experience managing multiple projects or training sessions simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills with attention.
Capability to prioritize and adapt to evolving operational needs.
- Quality & Compliance:
Commitment to maintaining training standards and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Able to present training activity during audits and answer auditors questions.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking:
Ability to identify process gaps and propose effective solutions.
Analytical mindset for assessing training efficacy and operational needs.
- Digital & IT Skills:
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technologies.
Familiarity with reporting tools and digital platforms used in MRO environments.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
