Honeywell Sr IT Analyst in Hyderabad, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) HCM Technical Administrator & Architect responsible for designing, building and maintaining the OCI HCM architecture, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. This role involves managing cloud migrations, configuring environments, Network routing, SSO, OAUTH, SFTP Agents, Interfaces etc. and refreshing, patching, monitoring and all admin support, ensuring the smooth performance and operations of Oracle Cloud HCM systems, The administrator will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure the alignment and implementation of technical solutions with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Experience of setting up OCI Fast Connect, VPN, Subnets, Firewalls

Deploying and managing applications, databases, and workloads efficiently. Managing various services and resources within the OCI environment, overseeing cloud applications, databases, and infrastructure components. Provisioning and maintenance of Environments and their Security roles, including but not limited to HCM (Fusion), OIC, FDI, IDCS, VBCS, ATP, ADW, AIDP Databases and Platforms.

  1. Architecture and Design:

  2. Develop and implement the architecture of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tailored to the needs of the HCM system.

  3. Design scalable and efficient Oracle Cloud solutions that align with industry standards and best practices.

  4. Migration and Implementation:

  5. Plan and execute cloud migrations for Oracle HCM modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes, including using and supporting Oracle DevSecOps and other such tools

  6. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate existing on-premises applications with Oracle Cloud.

  7. Conduct assessments to evaluate pre-migration systems and address any compatibility issues.

  8. Experience working with and support migration of data from on-premises to OCI, Oracle AI Data Platform etc

  9. Environment Build, Refresh and Patching:

  10. Build, configure, and manage Oracle Cloud HCM environments, ensuring they meet the operational requirements.

  11. Perform regular environment refreshes to maintain system integrity and meet testing and development needs.

  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during build and refresh cycles.

  13. Provide support needed for OCI Env Patching and work with Oracle to change the order of patching, cohorts etc.

  14. Maintenance and Support:

  15. Experience working with Oracle OCI Console, Oracle BI tool, CLI command line interface Monitor system performance and perform regular audits to ensure environmental health and security.

  16. Develop and maintain documentation such as runbooks, configuration guides, and maintenance logs.

  17. Provide continuous technical support and guidance to other IT team members and stakeholders.

  18. Work with Oracle Support and OCI Experts, raise Oracle SRs, provide HAR files other related OCI Env info

  19. Monitoring and Automation

  20. Experience with setting up alerts in OCI for and not limited to, CPU, Storage, Message Pack and other OCI resources utilization

  21. Run and generate utilization reports

  22. Automate regular and repetitive administration tasks using Automation tools, OS scripts and AI (Gen AI, Agentic AI etc.)

  23. Familiarity with Oracle 26A (AI based release and feature)

  24. Security and Compliance:

  25. Implement security policies and practices to ensure the protection of sensitive data.

  26. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to data governance and cloud computing.

  27. Collaboration and Communication:

  28. Collaborate with business users, developers, and IT staff to understand technical requirements and implement solutions.

  29. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise organizational awareness and competency in OCI HCM tools.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 5+ years of Experience with ORACLE OCI HCM is a must and should be ready for performing hands-on work on a day-to-to-today basis.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure setup, architecture, and management.

  • Experience in cloud migration projects and environment management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Nice to have minimum experience in Database Tuning and database replication.

  • Knowledge in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and production support

  • Knowledge and hands-on in transforming to and from on premise environment to cloud technology

  • Excellent oral, written and collaborative communication skills.

  • The ability to partner effectively with IT teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements

  • Strong interpersonal skills - effective listening and a motivated team player.

  • Knowledge and hands-on with data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery options, configuration and execution

  • Experience in effectively dealing with critical outages and remediation efforts given risk activities

  • Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle certification in Cloud Infrastructure or other relevant areas.

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for environment management.

  • Familiarity with tools like Oracle Cloud Control, Terraform, or equivalent, Oracle AI Data Platform
