As a Software Test Automation Engineer, your role will be central to ensuring the high quality and reliability of our Salesforce web-based applications and supporting platforms. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites, implementing best practices and associated processes to support the Sanofi Digital space. This position combines a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem along with a strong technical background in OCR and/or Selenium automation frameworks, methodologies and test script development.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with strong exposure to the Salesforce Health Cloud ecosystem, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of experience in software test automation and/or software development and keen experience working within various automation frameworks and programming languages such as Java, Python and Robotic Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Responsibility: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, with a focus and expertise using implementing Copado Robotic Testing and/or Selenium test script development. Managing/taking ownership of the Copado Robotic Testing platform.

  • Salesforce: Deep understanding of the Salesforce Lightning and OmniStudio ecosystem to support automated testing for seasonal releases, and multiple Salesforce lower environments.

  • Devops Methodologies: Contributing to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines by identifying and integrating automated tests.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with functional test teams, development teams and business partners to understand new features and identify automatable components.

  • Technical Expertise: Develop test automation scripts using Copado Robotic Testing disciplines, proven Python programming language expertise, exposure to open-source frameworks such as Selenium, comprehension of JAVA programming language.

  • Data Integrity: Exposure to automating Snowflake driven applications and data integrity models is helpful.

  • Defect Triage Methodologies: Through automation, detecting, isolating, documenting, and validating software defects using internal testing tools and sound defect triage methodologies.

  • Agile/Scrum Experience: Work closely with scrum masters, product owners and manual test teams to establish and maintain stories, tasks and defects in JIRA to ensure delivery of operational and project work items as related to automation

  • Performance & Support: Optimize automation performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide automation support for various deployments.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or in Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in test software automation development.

  • Exposure to Copado Robotic Testing or OCR based automation test tools.

  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining automated test scripts/suites using OCR automation models. Experience working with hybrid object/data Selenium models is also beneficial.

  • Experience with source code control, build, and CI/CD toolchains, specifically Git/GitHub, and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub actions, AWS or similar.

  • Experience automating or developing test scripts within the Salesforce lightning and/or OmniStudio environments.

  • Experience with Jira and XRay, or similar project and test management applications.

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Exhibit a high level of initiative and ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

  • Collaborating with functional test teams to design, build, and optimize automated test scripts/solutions and reporting.

  • Expertise in monitoring automation performance and troubleshooting issues.

  • Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

  • Test Automation/Development knowledge in Salesforce Health Cloud, Python, REST API, Java and GitHub

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development and deployment workflows.
