Software Engineering Lead Analyst
Evernorth, a leading Health Services company, is looking for exceptional engineers/developers in our Data and Analytics organization. In this role, you will actively participate with your development team on initiatives that support Evernorth's strategic goals as well as subject matter experts to understand business logic you will be engineering. As a software engineer, Ensure reliable operation and lifecycle management of enterprise data catalog platforms, including administration, upgrades, and integrations with identity and data systems..

Focus for this team is on the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems, but also with a mind to drive simplicity in refining and supporting of the solution by others
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer and maintain self-hosted data catalog environments on Linux.
Perform platform upgrades, migrations, and backup/restore operations.
Configure and troubleshoot metadata extraction and query log ingestion pipelines.
Implement and support SSO and SCIM for user authentication and provisioning.
Develop and maintain Python-based ETL workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with data platform teams to maintain connectors and credentials.
Manage customer support activities, including creating and tracking tickets in ServiceNow (SNOW).
Provide operational documentation and root-cause analysis for incidents.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Education:
5 - 8 years of relevant Data Engineering Experience.
Linux Systems Administration (including containerized environments).
Data Catalog Platform Administration (Alation).
Data Modeling Platform Administration (Erwin)
Database Operations (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
Identity Management (OIDC/SAML, OKTA).
Intermediate to Advanced Python for ETL development.
Intermediate AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) for cloud-based deployments.
Intermediate Terraform for infrastructure automation.
ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket creation and support workflow management.
Hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms and connectors.
Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution capabilities.
Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for upgrades and migrations.
Required Skills:
- Aliation, Erwin, SQL, OIDC/SAML, Python, Cloud (AWS Preferred )
