Job Description
Job Purpose
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our Hyderabad office. You will report to a local manager and work closely with a team of QA engineers who are eager to expand their automation skills. This is a hands-on role where you will have responsibility for the mobile automation project and help mentor others.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for native iOS and Android applications.
Utilize automation frameworks such as Cucumber and Appium to ensure robust test coverage.
Collaborate with QA engineers to upskill the team in automation best practices.
Review and refactor existing automation tests (primarily written in Java).
Lead efforts to improve test strategy, efficiency, and reliability.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Proven experience in mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
Hands-on expertise with Cucumber and Appium.
Strong knowledge of Java; familiarity with Kotlin is a plus.
Experience leading QA automation initiatives or mentoring other engineers.
Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Relevant certifications (considered a plus), such as:
ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level)
Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)
Appium Pro Certification
