Job Description — ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Role: ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Experience: 6–9 Years (relevant ServiceNow experience required)
Location: Hyderabad
Work Mode: Hybrid / Onsite
Role Overview
We are hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Developer with strong hands-on experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. The candidate should have experience integrating ServiceNow with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP) for infrastructure visibility, monitoring, and CMDB accuracy.
This role involves configuration, development, and implementation of ITOM solutions in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
• Configure and manage MID Servers and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Integrate ServiceNow with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Configure cloud discovery patterns and credentials
• Implement monitoring and alert integrations
• Maintain CMDB health, reconciliation, and identification rules
• Develop custom patterns, probes, and sensors
• Configure alerts, event rules, and alert correlation
• Support deployment, UAT, and production stabilization
• Troubleshoot discovery failures and data discrepancies
• Prepare technical documentation and KT sessions
Mandatory Skills
• 6–9 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM
o Discovery
o Service Mapping
o Event Management
• Experience integrating with:
o Microsoft Azure
o AWS
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of CMDB, CIs, and data reconciliation
• Experience in patterns, probes, and sensors
• Strong scripting (JavaScript) in ServiceNow
• REST/SOAP API integrations
• Experience in monitoring/alert tools integration
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (one or more)
Good to Have
• Cloud monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, GCP Operations/Stackdriver)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Performance Analytics or reporting exposure
Soft Skills
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a production support + implementation environment
• Ownership and proactive attitude
