We are looking for a seasoned Kubernetes Engineer to join our Container Platform team. This role is critical in designing, deploying, and managing container orchestration platforms that support scalable and resilient applications. You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Kubernetes clusters/containers across hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Kubernetesclustersacross cloud and on-prem environments, including lifecycle of core components and addons (e.g., CNI, CSI, ingress controllers,observabilityintegrations, etc.).
Develop Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests forcluster andapplication deployment and configuration.
Implement andmaintainCI/CD pipelinesandGitOpsworkflowsforclustercomponentsand application deployments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, andoptimizeclusterand applicationperformance and resourceutilization.
Ensure security, compliance, and high availability of containerized workloads.
Drive automation and platform consistency using a mix of scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC),GitOps, and Kubernetes-native tooling.
Maintain detailed documentation of Kubernetes environments and processes.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experiencemanagingproductionworkloadsin Kubernetes.
Proficiencyin cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and hybrid deployments.
Strong understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g.,Jenkins, GitHub Actions,CodePipeline).
Experience withTerraform or otherInfrastructure-as-Codetools.
Efficientwith monitoring tools (Dynatrace,NewRelic, etc.) and logging solutions (Splunk).
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)orother relevantcertifications.
Experience withGitOpstools such asArgoCD,FluxCD, etc.
Experience with deploying and managing Kubernetes addons(Policy Engines,Prometheus, Ingress Controllers,Cert-Manager, etc.)
Experienceadministrating a multi-tenant cluster.
Proficiencyinat least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, etc.)
