Are you skilled in forklift operation and warehouse organization? Nexeo is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support a busy yard and warehouse environment. This role is primarily focused on safely operating a forklift to move plates and parts,with additional responsibilities in Shipping,Receiving,and Assembly. Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move plates and parts safely around the yard
Assist with standard incoming and outgoing shipping activities
Support employees with unloading and receiving freight manually or using forklifts/pallet jacks
Verify quantity and quality of materials using Bills of Lading and purchase orders
Enter Material Certifications,assign M numbers,label materials,and support documentation needs
Support assembly tasks to ensure product readiness for shipment
Qualifications
Previous forklift experience required
Strong commitment to safety
Ability to read and follow prints,drawings,and assembly instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments
Performs well in stressful or fast-paced situations
Pay
$18.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | Monday Friday | 8:00am 4:30pm
