Amergis Phlebotomist - Days - $1,600 weekly in Hyannis, Massachusetts
The Phlebotomist draws blood from patients or donors of all ages in hospitals, clinics, blood banks, or similar facilities for analysis or other medical purposes.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or its equivalent
Successful completion of Phlebotomist training with subsequent certification (if applicable) as a Phlebotomist
Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Client Interview Required:Yes
Minimum Experience and Certification Required:- Experience drawing for pint units of blood with 16 gauge need
Experience with facilities like Red Cross or a hospital Blood Donor program
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and to work under pressure.
Prior phlebotomy experience required.
National Certification or completion of an accredited phlebotomy program preferred.
Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
Proficiency in using computers/laptops.
