Qnity has an exciting and challenging opportunity for R&D Chemist in our Semiconductor Technology (ST) Lithography R&D group in Korea R&D Center located in Dongtan, Korea. The ST Lithography R&D group is a part of the global Qnity Electronics R&D organization that is a world leading supplier of electronic materials innovation. ST Lithography R&D closely collaborates with the world leading customers to succeed together in both existing and emerging markets.

Key roles & Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry/physics to develop ST lithography materials and formulations for nano-lithography.

  • Apply methodologies, measurement and modeling tools to simulate, characterize, and optimize material structures, properties and resulting functions. (contribution to new material and formulation designs based on simulation or experimental results).

  • Resolve technology challenges through focused scientific methodology, multidisciplinary approach and innovative thinking.

  • Create and secure intellectual property for Qnity.

  • Co-work (technical meeting and learning exchange) with global colleagues to deliver technical solutions on time

Qualifications

  • Master Degree (with more than 3 years industrial career) or Ph.D. (or Post-doc.) in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering

  • Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presenting in Korean and English.

  • Effective in team interactions with willingness to learn from peers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of analytical technologies

  • Design of experiments

  • Statistical data analysis

  • MS Office software Power user
