Qnity has an exciting and challenging opportunity for R&D Chemist in our Semiconductor Technology (ST) Lithography R&D group in Korea R&D Center located in Dongtan, Korea. The ST Lithography R&D group is a part of the global Qnity Electronics R&D organization that is a world leading supplier of electronic materials innovation. ST Lithography R&D closely collaborates with the world leading customers to succeed together in both existing and emerging markets.
Key roles & Responsibilities
Apply expertise in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry/physics to develop ST lithography materials and formulations for nano-lithography.
Apply methodologies, measurement and modeling tools to simulate, characterize, and optimize material structures, properties and resulting functions. (contribution to new material and formulation designs based on simulation or experimental results).
Resolve technology challenges through focused scientific methodology, multidisciplinary approach and innovative thinking.
Create and secure intellectual property for Qnity.
Co-work (technical meeting and learning exchange) with global colleagues to deliver technical solutions on time
Qualifications
Master Degree (with more than 3 years industrial career) or Ph.D. (or Post-doc.) in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering
Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presenting in Korean and English.
Effective in team interactions with willingness to learn from peers.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of analytical technologies
Design of experiments
Statistical data analysis
MS Office software Power user
