Warrior Mfg., LLC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift in Hutchinson, Minnesota

Job Duties

Program, operate, and monitor equipment, making adjustments as needed pursuant to prints and/or work orders.

Processes may include precision drilling and tapping, sawing, cutting, and shaping steel, and/or milling flat stock. The operator monitors the work being completed and takes many critical measurements, accurately reading a tape measure and making adjustments as needed. If the machine is producing work that is not satisfactory, operator must be able to make small adjustments using a keypad on the control panel of the machine to correct the problem. Operator uses overhead cranes and other lifting devices as required. Operator occasionally uses a forklift. Operator stands 100% of the time while operating equipment

Required Skills

Experience and/or post-secondary education in C.N.C. programming and equipment operation.

Operator must be able to read, understand, and interpret work orders and/or prints.

Operator must be able to accurately use a tape measure, reading and checking measurements.

Computer knowledge.

Operator must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Operator must be able to stand 100% of the time.

Operator must be punctual and have good attendance.

Preferred Skills

Two years in a manufacturing setting, along with a technical college degree

Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes

Strong math skills

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical ability
