At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), we're looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our growing team in Charleston, WV. You'll work on a wide range of projects across the real estate, oil & gas, and public infrastructure sectors-delivering geotechnical solutions that shape communities and support critical development. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations. Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations. Prepare boring logs and develop laboratory testing programs. Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations. Prepare technical reports and foundation recommendations. Provide design input for: Building foundations, Cut and fill slopes, Retaining walls, Landslide remediation, Roadway rehabilitation Oversee construction materials testing services, including: Earthwork, Concrete, Foundations, Masonry, Pavement testing Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel. Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Why CEC? Qualifications

5+ years of geotechnical experience, preferably in a consulting environment. B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geology (M.S. a plus). Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification required. Ability to obtain a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license (if not already licensed). Strong technical writing and communication skills.
