Welder/Fabricator/Assembly Technician
Fabricating and MIG Welding of Various Sizes and Thickness of Weldments, Frames and Sub Assemblies. Precision fabricating skill set is a must with high attention to detail and ability to adapt to unique projects. Pre-Assemble Sub-Assemblies to Ensure Accurate Fabrication and Build Process Prior to Sand Blast and Paint. Ability and Willingness to Follow-Through to Assembly of Final Product and Product Testing.
Requirements:
> 2 Years Experience or 1 Year Technical School Graduate
> Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints
> Configure Welding Machines to Appropriate Voltage and Wire Feed
> High Proficiency in Metal Fabrication
> Perform Welds in Various Positions: Flat, Vertical, and Overhead
> High Proficiency in Quality Control; Identify Weld Quality, Accuracy, Defects and Remove Splatter and Clean Surfaces for Highest Quality Production
> Operate All Necessary Tools and Equipment to Perform Fabricating Tasks Including: Press Brake, Squares, Tape Measure, Calipers, Jigs, Hoists, Forklifts, Rigging, Grinders, Saws, Etc.
> Attention to Detail for Final Product Assembly and Ability to Operate All Hand Tools Necessary for Final Assembly: Torque Wrenches, Wrenches, Screw Drivers, Specialty Tools as Required
> Ability or Willingness to Learn Assembly Techniques in Complex Hydraulic Systems for Final Product Assembly
> Willingness to Adapt to Rapidly Changing Work Orders in a Multi-Faceted Welder/Fabricator/Assembler Position
> Safety Compliance: Maintain a Clean Work Environment and Properly Utilize all PPE
