RQ Construction, LLC Mechanical General Laborer - Hurlburt Field in Hurlburt Field, Florida
RQC is currently hiring a
Mechanical General Laborer
to support our team at
Hurlburt Field, Florida.
In this role, you will carry out a variety of physically demanding tasks on active construction sites, utilizing both hand tools and powered equipment. Responsibilities include supporting skilled tradespeople, maintaining clean and organized work areas, clearing debris, and disposing of non-hazardous materials. You may also be required to operate different types of construction machinery as needed. All duties must be performed in compliance with established safety standards and proper equipment usage, contributing to the overall goals and values of RQ Construction.
RQ Construction is committed to employee advancement and offers on-the-job training along with certifications based on project requirements, including safety and equipment operation. Work performed on military installations is compensated at prevailing wage rates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience (or equivalent) in commercial construction or related field; experience on government, military, or large commercial projects is a plus
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Forklift certification and experience in logistics, warehouse, or residential work
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Training or certification in:
- Fall protection
- Scissor lift or boom lift operation
- OSHA 10-hour safety training
