ATI is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our Huntsville, Alabama team. You will typically work from 8:00 pm 6:00 am Mon-Thur. with occasional over time. The Production Supervisor is instrumental with ensuring optimal throughput and production efficiencies by developing effective processes and equipment utilization strategies that meet production goals and objectives. Leading these processes and strategies ensure that we are achieving conformance and producing quality product that meets our customer requirements and ATI goals and objectives.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of 20-25 direct reports with diverse personalities. You will be a bridge between night shift and day shift and will leverage your communication skills to ensure information is passed on accurately to the next shift so there isnt a lag in production. The Production Supervisor is responsible for training, coaching, motivating, and leading the production workforce to ensure safe and efficient operation of the production areas.
In order to become successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly learn ATIs processes & products and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, engineering, quality, and safety. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to act quickly and make impactful decisions, and exceptional interpersonal skills are included in the skillset of a successful Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Production Technicians.
Assist in a variety of responsibilities including interpretation of company policies and the enforcement of departmental plant rules and regulations.
Make adjustments on work priorities to meet Production schedules.
Inspect product and verify conformance and direct setup or adjustments of machines.
Train Technicians on equipment.
Makes recommendations to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Analyze and resolve work problems.
