Chambers Bottling Company, LLC Logistics Inventory Lead 2nd Shift in Huntsville, Alabama
The Inventory Logistic Leads primary function is to lead the loading crew and be accountable for inventory.
Shift Hours: (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM or when finished).
- Oversee the loading of route and transport trucks.
- Work closely with management and provide backup assistance where needed.
- Be a knowledgeable resource for employees to rely on.
- Responsible for the scheduling and execution of cycle counts daily.
- Assist with month-end inventory.
- Cross train on dispatching and order entry.
- Accepts additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure the optimal overall operation of the company.
- Responsible for making sure the plant is locked and secure every night.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of inventory experience preferably in a warehouse setting
- Warehouse management system (WMS) experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Passionate self-starter who can work independently and can also be a team player.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree is a plus.
